Price Change for
Intermedia Microsoft 365

Intermedia is announcing price changes to Intermedia’s Microsoft 365 services, effective July 1, 2026.

Microsoft has announced global changes to its Microsoft 365 licensing program that are resulting in significant increases to the prices that Microsoft charges to its providers (such as Intermedia).

Q. Why is this change happening?
This decision by Microsoft to increase pricing is beyond our control, but Intermedia remains committed to continuing to provide the outstanding service and support to which you have become accustomed.

Q: What price changes are occurring?
Microsoft recently announced price changes to select Microsoft 365 subscriptions (“Impacted Subscriptions”) across different segments including commercial, government, and nonprofit. These price changes will be effective July 1, 2026, and pricing of the Impacted Subscriptions will increase by an average of 15%, ranging from 5% to 43% (“Updated Pricing”). The Updated Pricing applies to all New Commerce Experience (NCE) subscriptions, including NCE Annual (billed monthly and prepaid) and NCE Monthly.

* In accordance with federal regulations, for suites with total increases exceeding 10%, the increase will be phased over multiple years, with no more than 10% applied annually until the full adjustment is complete. Q: When are the new prices effective?
New subscriptions: The Updated Pricing will apply to the Impacted Subscriptions purchased on or after July 1, 2026.

Existing subscriptions: For existing Impacted Subscriptions, the Updated Pricing will take effect at the first renewal on or after July 1, 2026. For example, if a customer has a Microsoft 365 Business Basic - NCE Annual subscription with a renewal date of September 1, 2026, the Updated Pricing will apply at that renewal, as it is the first renewal after July 1, 2026.

Q: Does this increase affect all Microsoft 365 subscriptions?

Q: When will I see this on my bill?
For new Impacted Subscriptions, the Updated Pricing will apply when purchased on or after July 1, 2026. For existing Impacted Subscriptions, the Updated Pricing will take effect at the first renewal on or after July 1, 2026.

Q: Does this affect any discounts on my account?
Any existing discounts on Impacted Subscriptions will continue to apply to the updated pricing set forth in the Partner Portal.

Q: As a Reseller, do I need to take any additional action to make sure my customers are billed correctly?
Yes. For partners using (a) the “Retail Pricing” feature in the Partner Portal or (b) the ConnectWise integration for billing, you will need to update the pricing under the appropriate billing plan to help ensure your end-customer is billed the correct amount:

  • Go to the Partner Portal > Products & Pricing > Retail Pricing > Plan > Select appropriate billing plan > Find the correct subscription name > Enter your desired price.
  • For further instructions, please refer information towards the bottom of this article under “Email and Business Applications pricing”: https://support.serverdata.net/app/articles/detail/a_id/16891

For resellers using the ConnectWise (CW) integration for billing, it is essential to check your CW product catalog for any new SKUs and confirm that the correct pricing is applied. If you are using an alternative billing method for your end-customers, we recommend that you verify your retail pricing in the Partner Portal as follows:

  • Go to the Partner Portal > Products & Pricing > Retail Pricing > Plan > Select appropriate billing plan and verify your retail pricing.

Q. I provide Government subscriptions - when will I see the price increases?
In accordance with federal regulations, for Government subscription suites with total increases exceeding 10%, the increase must be phased over multiple years, with no more than 10% applied annually until the full adjustment is complete. The price increases for 2027, 2028, and 2029 outlined in the pricing table above are effective as of July 1st of each respective year.
